Featuring Chef Dan Hixon

Chef Hixon has worked in the field of culinary arts throughout Rochester, Canandaigua and Las Vegas for the past 18 years and has honed his skills at many hotels and prestigious private golf clubs including Southern Highland Golf Club’s Executive Sous and Dragonridge Country Club’s Executive Chef and most recently at the Bristol Hotel and Golf Club. As the Executive Chef of The Cove Restaurant at Hotel Canandaigua, he is most excited to make a big impact in the Canandaigua area by creating memorable and creative dishes. Chef Hixon is a proud father of two children.

The Birdcage

The Birdcage outdoor bar is the chosen spot for guests to experience the beautiful views of Canandaigua Lake. Our guests greatly enjoy signature cocktails and light appetizers after a day at the lake.

The Birdcage is currently closed for the season.
